Yamashita Park

Kawasaki Daishi

Kawasaki Daishi, located in Kawasaki City, is a historic temple. Kawasaki Daishi's official name is the Kawasaki Daishi Heikenji Temple, Grand Head Temple of the Chisan Sect of Shingon Buddhism. This temple is also referred to as "Yakuyoke Kobo Daishi (the most holy of Buddhist priests for driving evil away)." Revered as the most holy of Buddhist priests to eradicate various evils, Kawasaki Daishi is renowned for its ability to fulfill the wishes of worshippers. It was established in 1128.

Kannonzaki Lighthouse

Kannonzaki Lighthouse, located at the easternmost cape of Miura Peninsula in Kanagawa Prefecture, is the first western-style beacon in Japan. The first lighting of this lighthouse was in 1869. The natural area around this lighthouse is conserved and managed as the Kanagawa Prefectural Kannonzaki Park. The lighthouse commands a panoramic view of the Uraga-Suido channel.
